Sprain it
Umm...i dont see why you would want to...but if you twist your ankle usually it swells up and then leads down to your foot....OUCH...
fluid retention
An ankle can swell and turn black and blue from a simple twisting injury, or a sprain injury. It doesn't need to cause a fracture to bruise or swell. And because the ankle is a fairly small area, the swelling can seem pretty drastic. If you fell, ask a Dr if you need an X-ray. If no break, elevate it, put ice on (10-15 minutes on, then off), keep it elevated, try to avoid weight-bearing, and if the dr agrees, you could wrap it with an Ace bandage. Make sure the Ace is not too tight. Wrap from toes UP around the ankle. Never wrap from ankle to toes, or your toes will swell. Ace works by helping fluid (in swelling) go upward to the heart.
They could get sick or have an allergy overnight maybe, somewher in the [nose] swell and block the airway so it can't breathe (Overnight)
The ankle. In Latin, tarsals literally mean the ankle.
any
if your allergic to something and eat it, your taste buds will swell up which will make your tongue get upset and also swell
My advice as a massage therapist would be to prop her leg up and put an ice pack on the ankle. Walking on it can irritate it and cause to take longer to heal. It will also make it feel worse and may swell more. Also take 2 Advil or Motrin as they are anti inflammatory drugs.
yes
You only have one ankle on each foot, but there are different bones that make up your ankle.
The scientific name for the ankle is "tarsus." It refers to the region of the foot that includes the ankle and the seven tarsal bones that make up the ankle joint.
Tarsal bones are commonly known as ankle bones. They are a group of seven bones in the foot that help make up the ankle joint and provide structure and support to the foot.
