There are certain things that can trigger anxiety in a bipolar sufferer, so in order to keep as relaxed as possible, it is best to avoid these triggers as much as you can. Even if the triggers are sometimes people who cause you to feel anxious.

There are many simple ways of relaxing: going for a pleasant walk can work wonders; listening to soothing music - Mozart's music is well known for its capacity to soothe; watching a favourite film; having a nice warm bath with lavender milk or lavender oil; playing a game on your games console - which can get rid of alot of tension; curling up with a good book; doing some research on the internet; just watching television with your feet up, a cup of tea and the cat sat on your lap. Anything really that makes YOU feel good and happy.
