To operate a 4x4 vehicle with H4 (high-range four-wheel drive) and L4 (low-range four-wheel drive), first switch to H4 for regular driving on slippery or off-road conditions, providing better traction without sacrificing speed. For challenging terrain such as steep hills or deep mud, shift to L4, which offers increased torque and power at lower speeds. Always ensure the vehicle is at a complete stop before shifting between modes to avoid damage to the drivetrain. Familiarize yourself with your specific vehicle’s manual for any additional instructions or precautions.
For 3VZ-E engine vehicles with ADD & AT tranny, you can shift from H2 to H4 at any speed below 80 km/h or 50 mph..H4 to L4 - below 30 km/h or 18mph..
Unfortunately, H4 visa holders are not allowed to work here in the United States. It is the regulation when you applied for this type of visa. If you are already on H4, you can join to our group at facebook "H4 WORLD - ONLINE COMMUNITY", and share your thoughts. Thanks.
H4 visa holders are not allowed to legally work. H4 is a derivative of an H1 visa. H4 visa holders are allowed entry to US because they are dependents of H1 visa holder. H4 visa holders are not eligible for Social Security Number. H4 visa holder may apply EAD only if filed concurrently with the principal's (H1 Visa holder) I-140 petition OR if principal's I-140 petition is pending or approved. how does 4x4 auto work
Step 1, Ensure the front hubs are set to lock. In the centre of each front wheel is a dial. You have 2 options FREE or LOCK. Lock is for 4wd, Free is for 2wd. Step 2, Using the clutch move the small gear stick, between the front seats to Either H4 or L4. H4 enguages 4wd and keeps the gears the same as they are usually, ie highway driving. L4 or Low 4 enguages a whole new set of lower gears designed for tough, slow off roading.
It is a Regular H4 Visa.. no need to worry
The status of an H4 depends on the H1B spouse's status. If the couple divorces, then the H4 is out of status. The H4 would have to either return to their home country, or switch to another status.

H4 typically refers to a specific type of visa in the United States, which is issued to the dependents (spouses and children) of H-1B visa holders. It allows them to live in the U.S. while the primary H-1B visa holder works. Additionally, H4 visa holders may be eligible for work authorization under certain conditions.
The 4x4 may not work on a 94 Chevy Silverado if the solenoid has failed or the transfer case is defective. Once the switch is pressed in the cab, the 4x4 system is automatically engaged.
