Your body has a cell called T4. It goes through your body searching for intruders. When it finds intruders, it tells other parts of the immune system how to find them and kill them. The other parts of the immune system finds the intruders and kills them. The HIV or AIDS virus destroys the T4 cells. As a result, when a new intruder slips into the body, if the parts of the immune system recognize it, they destroy it. If they do not, the new intruder can destroy the body. You may remember the airplanes crashing into the twin trade towers on 9/11. A new type of intruder slipped into this country. This country was not ready for that type of intruder. Now it is. Suppose enough of these intruders slipped in and all they did was kill policemen. Other criminals would do severe damage all over. It would be unsafe to walk on the streets and this country would become extremely sick. That is an analogy.
