People with Angelman Syndrome usually have a normal life span unless they have it severe or a bad rare kind of it. This can be followed up by looking for the symptoms.

Angelmans syndrome is a disorder caused by the mutation or deletion of the UBE3A gene. It causes developmental delays, delayed or absent walking, siezures, sleep disturbance, jerky movements and flapping of the hands, and limited to no speech. They are usually recognized for their happy demeanor and young features. Many can learn simple signs to communicate and are very good with getting their point across non-verbally. Angelmans is not life-threatening (unless the siezures are very severe) and most angels can live long lives. There is currently no cure for angelman's syndrome.
