Rashes are almost entirely caused by an allergic reaction; probably something in your medication or your skincare ingredients. Pumpkin seed extract minimizes almost all inflammation to the skin. It minimizes the conversion of histimine to histidine, phospholipids, archidonic acid, prostaglandins and leucotriens in the cell membranes which cause inflammation. I'm a scientist and the only product that has helped my rash actually go away is a product by Hylunia called "Healing and Restoring Creme". It's only sold to licensed spas. Unfortunately, they don't sell their product on-line, so it's difficult to get. Call your nearest Spa to see if they carry Hylunia products...you may get lucky. I've tried various prescribed medications from several doctors over the past 2 years. This is the only product that has worked for me. Good luck
I honestly wouldn't recommend using it. It may take the look away but it isn't worth it because putting most types of makeup on a shingles rash would irritate the rash even more.
It all depends on what caused the rash in the first place. A heat rash will go away quickly and a rash cause by a bacteria or a virus will take 7-10 days. Some can be caused by food or other allergies.
Shingles develop in 3 stages. First, a deep pain as if caused by injury, but you were not injured. Second, stabbing pain which comes and goes. This kind of pain is specific to shingles, very unlike throbing pain which is continuous. If you take medication early you can stop the progress of the illness, otherwise blisters break out.
Sure, you can sleep in the same bed as someone with shingles, as it is not a highly contagious disease. However, it's best to avoid direct contact with the rash to lower the risk of spreading the virus. So, cuddle up at your own risk, but maybe keep your distance from their rash.
Can you take the shingles shot while having shingles
How big is the rash? how long have you had it? is it from an allergic reaction or plants like poisin ivy and or poisin oak? Is it spreading or contained? what are you taking to rid yourself of this rash? this is all background info needed to determine how long it will take for the rash to subside. You cant just ask how long will this rash on my neck to disappear because my self esteem is low and i cant go outside looking like this. Poison ivy rash typically appears within 12 to 72 hours after exposure to the plant's oil, urushiol. The rash can last anywhere from 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the severity of the reaction and individual sensitivity. While the rash may start to fade after a week, it can take longer for the skin to fully heal, with some cases lingering for several weeks. Treatment can help alleviate symptoms and speed up recovery.
Valtrex (valacyclovir) is typically prescribed for shingles for a duration of 7 to 10 days, depending on the severity of the outbreak and individual patient factors. It is most effective when started within 72 hours of the onset of rash. Always follow your healthcare provider's instructions regarding the duration of treatment. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further guidance.
From what I read on medicine net shingles can't be transmitted if you already had chicken pox and if you do get it then you will get chicken pox.
Shingles is only contagious before the blisters and sores dry. Once they're scabbed over, the virus is not contagious. Remember that shingles can only be spread by direct contact with the lesions. You can't get shingles from someone unless you touch their wet lesions. You won't get it from riding a bus with them, eating with them, or being in the same room with them. Patients with shingles can continue normal activities, including school and work, as long as the lesions are covered.Children do not get attack of shingles before they get chicken pox. You get attack of shingles only after you have had chicken pox.
If you have bra rash, make sure that you take off your bra when you are resting at home and sleeping. Also, make sure you wash your bras regularly and choose bras in natural fabrics. If the rash doesn't go away, talk to your doctor about it.
The possible way to take off a rash is to put cream on.
