It depends on how much you want to stretch it. I have four stretched piercings in my ears, three in the lobe. Mines are only stetched to slightly wider than a belly bar, so it's nothing extreme. For me to get from a normal piercing hole to this took a few weeks; I rushed one and God I payed for it. I went from one earring to two, then to three, then to a very very thin spiral, a wee bit thicker spiral, a belly bar and then finally to what I have. If you're wanting to go bigger than that I suggest you talk to a piercer, but that's the basics of a wee stretch.
