How many bottles does it take to get drunk?

Well some people are lightweights and some can take lots of alchol to get drunk. A few shots should do the normal person.. you never know till you try!

it depends on your tolerance towards alcohol. if u never drink then more then likely it doesn't take much at all but if your a raging alcholic then it takes quiet a bit.

it takes me about 7-8 but im 15 so idk...

Of course it depends on the strength of the drink, and how you can handle your drink. If you're crazy enough to do vodka shots then I would say about 6-8 would get the average say... 20 year old fairly drunk. For some it would probably be as high as 15, for others maybe only 3. With other drinks such as Apple/Blackcurrant/Cherry Sourz, which are only half as strong, you would expect this values to be doubled - so 12-16 for the average middle aged person, but for some people maybe a whole bottle or more, while for others maybe only 8 shots of Sourz would be needed. It's all relative really. For the average 200 pound person, three shots in an hour would put you over the legal limit for DUI.

The 'drink drive' limit in the UK roughly equates to two 'units of alcohol', in most Eurupean countries it is just over one unit. A 'unit' is half a pint of medium beer, one modest glass of wine, one measure of spirits etc. At the two unit level judgment for skilled tasks such as driving begins to be impaired. To get roaring drunk you need more than two units.

A normal liver will metabolise one standard drink every 90mins - this means that you can take off approximately 0.01% BAC every 40mins after the drink is finished. Having a meal before, or during, alcohol consumption should also help to reduce the affects of alcohol.
