I think that as soon as you notice any kind of bleeding, you should contact your doctor or go to emergency. You can never say if it's normal or not. Sometimes it's even hard for professionals but at least they can tell you what to do, might give you some medications and will monitor you. For sure you'll have to rest. Good luck, hope it's nothing alarming but better checking than keep worrying.

Can misoprostol end an incomplete miscarriage?

Yes. Sometimes the doctor can give you medication to induce cramps so the embryo comes out. It depends on how far along you are and if something has come out already or not. Always consult a doctor if you suspect a miscarriage.

Can you have a miscarriage if there is bleeding but no cramps or pain?

yes

Does spotting cause cramps?

Spotting itself typically does not cause cramps, but it can be associated with hormonal changes or the onset of menstruation, which may lead to cramping. Some individuals may experience mild cramps during spotting due to these hormonal fluctuations or if the spotting is related to ovulation or the beginning of their period. If cramps are severe or persistent, it's advisable to consult a healthcare professional.
