Hi, Brownish discharge can occur during pregnancy hun but it may also be due to a vaginal infection. See your doctor for a examination but you do not need to worry about your pregnancy because it is old blood and not fresh blood. But do see your doctor.
it probably means that you are on birth control, and youre normal. that is not something to be worried about.
You should be able to get your periods in your next cycle that is if you have regular periods. Brownish discharge is common should be nothing to worry about, it is just old blood and tissues that are excreting your uterus wall. If at all you get cramps when that brownish discharges flows, then you need to see a doctor. On that note if you feel too worried about it, then you can see a gynaecologist otherwise you could wait to see if your next period will come as expected.
You're hormones could be screwed up. It could means dozens of things. If you are worried about being pregnant go to the doctor and have them take a blood pregnancy test to tell if you are or you aren't. There never wrong.
it is common for pregnant women to 'spot' this is also known as a false period. If you are worried, talk to your OBGYN.
Good question i was also very worried about this same sign so i asked my doctor. I was only 5 weeks pregnant when it started and was worried that it was an infection but the doctor said its completely normal it shouldn't look like cottage cheese and it shouldn't smell like yeast. It is there to protect you and the baby from outside bacterias..
i have done a hpt and have ben to the doctors and both confirmed that i am pregnant but the dr did say that i am fairly early in the pregnancy 5 days later i noticed light pink discharge should i be worried

Probably not, but test if you are worried.
Brownish discharge can mean different things. It could be a sign of ovulation. it could also be a false menstrual cycle in which your body did not release an egg but still rids itself of blood leftover from the last heavier period. It could also mean that you may be pregnant. The best thing to do is talk to your doctor. But you can also start tracking your fertility as an added comfort. It requires taking your waking temp. and noticing your vaginal discharge. You can get a great book called "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Weschler, MPH. I have found it to be very helpful in educating myself about my female anatomy.
I hope its nothing bad... Im experiencing the same thing :z
Brown discharge usually indicates "old" blood. If you are having a miscarriage the blood will be bright red and flowing. At four weeks pregnant an ultrasound will not show a heartbeat. So at that stage you would be unable to judge the viability of the pregnancy. The brown discharge is probably the baby attaching itself to the the uterine wall - some small bleeding can occur then.
Few women get discharge from chlamydia. The addition of menstrual fluid to the existing vaginal and cervical discharge will certainly change the appearance. If you're worried that you may have chlamydia, get tested.
