It takes some time, usually a month before these hormone is strong enough in your body to make you ill. The best pregnancy tests are at free clinics or at the Dollar Store because the government wants poor people to know if they are pregnant quickly so they can make better decisions. They work better because they can detect that hormone quicker. The pregnancy tests at the drug stores and grocery stores are expensive because wealthy people won't freak out if they are pregnant; they have more options. Calm down. If you have insurance, wait two more weeks and get a blood test. This test can tell you if you are pregnant even after a week but I think it's better to let two weeks pass so that the hormone is stronger.
