is 5 mg is ok for a women
It is recommended that most adults consume 400 micrograms (mcg) of folic acid per day. Pregnant women or women trying to conceive should aim for 600-800 mcg daily to prevent neural tube defects in the baby. It is always best to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new supplement regimen.
Normal pregnant women need 400 to 800 mcg of folic acid a day. You should talk to your Dr to see if you need to adjust.
When a woman is pregnant she should take 800 micrograms a day in order to prevent birth defects
It should be OK. Folic acid is water soluble, which means you will use what you need and urinate the rest out. My concern is why are you taking both? If you do not have a folic acid deficiency, you should be fine taking the over the counter pre-natal vitamin with the 800 mcg (and that is all) OR you can ask your doctor to prescribe a prescription pre-natal vitamin with 1 mg of folic acid plus other vitamins/minerals and take that alone. Pregnant women do not require more than 800 mcg of folate/day even though there is that 1 mg prescription formulation - unless you have a deficiency! You may want to run this by your doctor - ask if he/she thinks it is necessary for you to be on the extra folate and if not, can you just take the over the counter supplement. I would not change what you are doing until you talk to your doctor, however. Hope this is helpful!
I say 2.5 because 1 milligram = 1000 mcg and if you think about it 400 mcg (1 pill) +400 mcg (1 pill) = 800 mcg + 200 mcg (1/2 pill)= 1000 mcg

Minimum of 400 mcg daily, though most prenatal vitamins have more, 800 mcg or even a gram.

The 800 meter run.
100 times as much as 800 is 80,000. This is calculated by multiplying 800 by 100. Therefore, the answer is 80,000.
