Custard is normally made with milk, sugar and eggs, and so is gluten-free. However some methods of making custard, especially commercially-prepared custard, might use wheat flour and so would not be gluten-free. If you are buying custard ready-made, check the label. Bear in mind gluten is not usually a problem for people who are not suffering from a medical condition which is affected by gluten and that such a condition needs to be diagnosed by a doctor.
