My personal feeling is that it is best to rest when sick and at most engage in light exercise. I have no scientific data to back that up. If you symptoms are more than mild then you certainly should just rest.
Yes. The infection can worsen, due to the combination of exertion and lack of needed rest.
You need to see your doctor as you may have a chest infection which requires medication.
I have it too
Infection.
yes
yes i have just been diagnosed with a chest infection and have been sick twice today.
I would not recommend exercising with a chest infection. Cardiovascular strain resulting from a workout can potentially worsen your symptoms. Shortness of breath, mucus production, and dehydration can all increase with a high intensity workout. Take a few days off from your exercise regimen, and give your respiratory system the time it needs to recuperate. If the symptoms persist then you know it is time to see the doctor. Feel better!
To convert a chest press exercise to a bench press exercise, simply perform the chest press while lying on a flat bench instead of a seated position. This will engage more stabilizing muscles and provide a greater range of motion for the exercise.
Basal chest infection refers to an infection that affects the lower parts of the lungs, specifically the basal segments. This type of infection can lead to symptoms such as cough, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. Treatment typically involves antibiotics and supportive measures to help manage symptoms.
