You may have a lactose intolerance problem. If your body does not produce lactase your digestive system will not adequately process milk and can give you quit a bit of gas. Also bloating and a pot belly are symptoms of Celiac Disease (gluten intolerance). If you look into Celiac disease and find you have a lot of symptoms you should get tested by your doctor. Then if you are Celiac you must completely avoid gluten. You can also be gluten intolerant and not have CD, which could be causing the pot belly. A gluten free diet should get rid of it.
The second step in digestion is your food going into your esophagus and traveling down into your stomach.
There are two sphincters, one at the end of the esophagus / top of the stomach, and the second at the bottom of the stomach / beginning of the small intestines, which keep digestive contents moving downward through the beginning of the digestive tract.
The rumen, regarded as the second stomach of a ruminant's digestive system, is responsible for the fermentation process of digesting forage. It houses colonies of protozoa and bacteria which aid in this fermentation process.
Second hand smoke is in your lungs and it is not something you can remove by drinking something as it isn't in your digestive tract.
The second stage of digestion occurs in the stomach. Here, food is mixed with stomach acid and digestive enzymes to further break down proteins and begin the process of nutrient absorption.
Reticulum is the second chamber of the digestive tract, used for sorting out fine plant particles for further fermentation.
The Appendix. Thie is a small projection from the cecum of the large intestine. Is is a rememnant of evolution from what was once a second stomach.

The gizzard is a muscular part of the chicken's digestive system located between the stomach and intestines. It helps grind up food that the chicken eats, as chickens do not have teeth to chew their food.
The stomach contains hydrochloric acid, which has a pH of generally 1-3. These optimal pH levels must be present in order for pepsin (a protein-digesting enzyme) to function. If the pH is not acidic, pepsin will only be present in its inactive form, pepsinogen, and protein digestion will effectively occur. Uhh.. hope that's what you were looking for. The second part is just a bit more detail as to why the pH of stomach is important.
