Genetics has a big impact, but unfortunately, you have absolutely no control over it. On the positive side, you CAN control your Diet and level of Stress.

So, here's what I do. For stress, since I'm a Type-A personality and find it hard to meditate, I rely on exercise. Exercise has been scientifically proven to be one of the simplest ways to reduce stress levels. Just do it.

Now, diet - this is a biggie. Basically, you want to avoid processed foods and chemical additives as much as possible. Going natural and organic has a BIG impact on your gray hairs - I know, I have seen the difference. There are also some foods that promote natural hair color, and prevent grays. Black strap molasses is one of them. There are also some vitamins that greatly help, such as E and C.

Now, the question I am sure you will ask is "how do I turn my gray hair back to normal?" If you have only a couple of gray hairs, it is not too late to turn is around. If you have a lot of gray hairs and have had them for a long time, it is going to be more difficult.

You should get on a "reversing gray hair" diet. This kind of diet is spelled out in a couple of great books on the internet.
