Toothpaste or indigestion tablets can be used for bees stings (externally, of course !!) but they are not so important.
See also the link below.
Bee venom has a pH of around 4.5 to 5.5. The acidity of bee venom can cause a burning sensation and inflammation at the sting site. It is important to remove the stinger quickly to minimize the amount of venom injected.
Never heard of that. BUT for bees stings use bi carbonate of soda and for wasp stings use vinegar. Because bee stings are acid and the bicarbonate neutralizes it and wasp stings are alkaline so the acid neutralizes it.
toothpaste
No, it isn't.
I cannot think of any common substance in toothpaste that would have much beneficial effect on even a recent bee sting, let alone one that was already a day old.
Toothpaste reduces the pain and swelling of a bee sting (because toothpaste is a base and the bee sting is acidic) Toothpaste doesn't help wasp stings because wasp stings and toothpaste are alkali. (However vinegar works well on wasp stings because vinegar is acidic)
i believe that the pain caused by a bee sting is caused by a strong acid which is injected by the sting itself. The substance in the toothpaste which causes the pain to be minimised is not actually an acid, but a base. This substance is most likely sodium bicarbonate, which will neutalise the acid. Conversely wasp stings are caused by a strong alkalai substance and can be neutralised with a strong acid (such as vinegar)
The pH scale of a bee sting is 3.5, so if you get stung by a bee, putting toothpaste on the bee sting should help because the bee sting is weak acid but toothpaste is week alkali so it should balance it out.
Both are good.
Sting sang it. Also an even better version by Eva Cassidy
I have found that toothpaste or green tea bags rubbed on the sting and then putting an ice cube on it works to re-leave the pain and decrease the swelling. Also normally healing in half the time if green tea bag is used throughout the day... so if you get stung by a sweat bee brew a pot of Chinese green tea and save the tea bags for your sting and enjoy a nice relaxing cup of tea...
Of Course Undertaker Beat The best a WM I Would'nt be suprised if Undertaker beat sting
