You are experiencing ripening. It happens to all of us. This DOES NOT mean you are in labor. It absolutely means you are going to be having the baby within the next day/week/month, it is not known for sure. Which is why you should keep your routine visits with your midwife/doctor to better tell you when you will estimated for labor. You WILL know when you are in labor even slow labor :D I had slow labor then it sped up :D
Good Luck !
During the latent phase, progress is usually very slow. It may take quite a while and many contractions before the cervix dilates the first few centimeters. Contractions increase in strength as labor progresses.
If the cervix is in the way during labor, it can slow down the progress of labor or even prevent the baby from descending into the birth canal. This situation may require medical intervention, such as repositioning the mother, administering medication, or in some cases, a cesarean section. It's important for healthcare providers to monitor closely and address any issues promptly to ensure a safe delivery for both the mother and baby.
I hope you mean 26% labor, if you are running 6% labor, you will have some VERY unhappy customers complaining about VERY slow service.
Slow Labour means that the baby comes out later than the doctors said.
