should I continue on the HCG diet if i get my period?
My hcg level was 110 and that was drawn at 3 weeks 4 days since last menstrual period.
4 days after a missed period, a serum hCG will be accurate - 7 to 14 days after a missed period the urine hCG will be accurate.
Your body produces HCG only during pregnancy.
If your HCG is not showing up, then you're most likely not actually pregnant. A drop in HCG usually indicates a miscarriage. It's possible that there was an error on the test, so you should probably get retested.
Yes. This is where timing comes into play. Your first period should be about 28-30 days after the miscarriage - that was my experience anyway.
Health care providers usually will continue to test hCG levels after a pregnancy loss to ensure they return back to <5.0. If your miscarriage was very early in the pregnancy and you continue to show an elevated hCG level your doctor should do a scan to to see if you have another fetus who survived the miscarriage. hCG levels only rise in the event of a embryo in the first trimester still growing in the uterus or after taking medications that contain hCG. Otherwise after a miscarriage the levels should drop steadily and return to a non-pregnant range within about 4 to 6 weeks depending how far into the pregnancy the loss occurred.
drink enough water as required
the numbers are supposed to double every 48-72 hours. Sounds like you either have HCG in your system from the HCG shot, or from a chemical pregnancy. Your numbers are not doubling like they should be, sorry. If your hcg levels increase it simply means that you are pregnant.
Your wife should continue to take her active pills.
Yes.
maybe it is still early for the HCG to show in the urine. After 1 missed period and 16 days.HCG in the blood will show after a missed period and 10 days.
No but you could be, a pregnancy test should be able to pick up the HCG hormone by now
