Osteoporosis, is the weakening of bones. It occurs due to advancing age, especially in white women, people who smoke, lack of calcium and/or vitamin D in the diet, lack of estrogen (menopause or complete hysterectomy), and women who are very thin.

Osteoblasts create bone (or osseous) tissue, whereas osteoclasts break down or resorb it. It's hard to remember because it would be expected that osteoblasts blast it away but I remember it by keeping in mind that it's opposite from what I would normally pick.

The type of tissue that fits this description is epithelial tissue. Epithelial cells are tightly packed together with large nuclei located near the basal surface. This arrangement allows epithelial tissue to form protective barriers in the body and facilitate the exchange of substances.
Osteoclasts are large, multinucleated cells found in bone tissue. They are responsible for the breakdown and resorption of bone by secreting enzymes and acids that dissolve the mineralized matrix of bone. Osteoclasts are derived from the fusion of monocytes/macrophages and are involved in bone remodeling and repair.

Adipose tissue cells, also known as adipocytes, possess a large central fat-filled vacuole that stores energy in the form of triglycerides. This unique feature allows them to function as the primary site for energy storage in the body.
Heart attacks (myocardial infractions) cause tissues and the cells in part pf the heart to die. They actually block blood flow and that loss of blood will cause the cells and tissues to die. Some of these MIs are not large and scar tissue will form. But some are very large and the heart muscle will actually break apart causing death.
