First of all, DO NOT yell at the child or criticize it in any way. Take the child to a doctor, first, because you need to rule out disease as a cause. While you are there, ask the doctor about the condition.
Meanwhile, you probably want to put a plastic sheet under the child's regular sheet, and be prepared to wash clothes and linen a lot until the situation resolves itself.
* Don't try to stop this child. He or she will outgrow this stage and will stop alone. The child doesn't like it any better than you do.
Bed-wetting is hereditary. We get it from our parents. Give this child all the love and support you can possibly give; this child is just as special as every other little child.
* I don't think you can -- in time the child will stop by himself or herself The important thing, probably, is not to make the child feel pressurized. Don't be angry. Shouting and hitting definitely does not work (speaking from experience). Probably the best thing you can do at the moment (if the child is not too young) is make him or her take off the wet sheets and wash them, and make his or her own bed, etc. Stay patient, as hard as it sometimes is. But getting angry may only make matters worse.
* definitely don't make the girl feel like she is a pig and don't tell her i should have left you this or that just tell her sweetie if ya pee in the bed please don't be scared to come and tell me.. but tell her if she does not tell you, u might get a little angry really i am a 12 year old and i still pee in the bed because my dad get really cross with me hits me but later he apologizes but me and him looked up y kids piss in the bed and he stopped doing everything of that to me and gosh i don't pee anymore but really don't humiliate the kid. ALWAYS REMEMBER: he/she isn't doing it on purpose and is probably really embarrassed about it. Reassure him/her that lots of kids wet the bed and its okay to and doesn't make him/her any less important than anyone else. We all have faults, they're just all different. My boy wet the bed until he was 13 and his friends found out and teased him rotten so keep it a secret if you have any idea what teeneage boys are like. but my little girl wet the bed until she was eight and her bff was very supportive and never teased her once. if its a very young child, say around 7 and younger tell them that you got a letter from santa telling you that if they stopped wetting the bed they would get a SPECIAL SURPRISE at Christmas (providing that you celebrate Christmas and if you don't PLEASE don't be offended it was just a suggestion) Gentle encouragement ALWAYS works better than force.
Another great suggestion is to try a bed-wetting alarm. They're an incredible investment and can recondition the child to stop this issue. It basically trains them to "feel" the urge to urinate, and then get up and go use the restroom and it works! another thing that may help is dnt let them drink too much water before bed .Below is a link to a Google document of a bed-wetting alarm comparision chart. Just copy the link and open past it in a new tab. Hope it helps! It did for me.

No, you will probably not stop wetting the bed if your brother licks your private part. Wetting the is very common in some children. Many children simply grow out of it over time.
They probably need help from a doctor.
The parent needs to take the child to a doctor in order to determine if there is a medical cause for the bed wetting. If there is no medical cause, the child should then be taken to a psycho therapist for evaluation. No child should be punished for bed wetting, as the child has no control over it. With proper evaluation, the child could be helped and on his/her way to recovery.
