Epaderm is primarily a moisturizer and emollient used to treat dry skin conditions, rather than a treatment for sunburn. While it may help to soothe and hydrate the skin, it is not specifically formulated to address the inflammation or pain associated with sunburn. For sunburn relief, it's best to use products specifically designed for that purpose, such as aloe vera gel or over-the-counter hydrocortisone creams. Always consult a healthcare professional if you have concerns about treating sunburn.
I used it on bad sunburn and had a severe itchy reaction. I checked epaderm and it says NOT to use on sunburn.

Vinegar can be used to treat sunburn effectively by applying a mixture of equal parts vinegar and water to the affected area. The acetic acid in vinegar helps to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation, providing relief from pain and redness associated with sunburn. It is important to dilute the vinegar with water to prevent further irritation to the skin.
