Hi This could be thrush or a sweat rash. There are many other reasons as well: * Jock itch * Under pants being too tight on both men/women that are made out of synthetic materials (cotton should be used as it's breathable material.) * Jeans that are too tight. * Allergies to the dye in jeans. * Women that wear pantyhose. Pantyhose does not breath and this can cause rashes or friction from legs rubbing together. SOLUTION: If you think it's thrush or jock itch see your doctor. First try laying in a tepid bath tub of water (no bubble baths) and then take 2 cups of Epsom Salts Crystals (won't sting) and pour boiling water into the cup to dissolve crystals and add to bath water. Soak in the tub for 20 minutes to half an hour. Epsom Salts is good for many things: sunburns, rashes, some wounds, etc.

The leg cast should NOT be so tight that it causes the toes to swell, turn cold or blue, or cut into the skin at the toe or leg open end. If you have any symptoms in your toes, elevate the foot and leg and call your doctor for further instruction, or if after hours, visit the ER. Otherwise, the cast should fit snugly, should not move or twist around on the leg, and you shouldn't be able to fit any more than 1 finger (or less) between the end and your skin.
