What could be wrong if you have not had your period in 6 months but the past two months you have had brown spotting for about 3 days and all tests have been negative?

I do know that the best thing you could do, is get yourself off to a gynae. A blood test for starters will clear any questions of pregnancy, although I think you might have noticed some oher signs of that by now. There are many conditions that affect your period, such as Poly-cystic -ovarian syndrome, fibrocytis, and emdrometrosis. Not to say that you have any of them, but this sounds like it's time to get a check up. Good luck!

Depends on your history. Do you typically have abnormal periods? As in, how common is it for you to skip a period? Have you lost weight or gained weight recently, that effects your periods. Are you under stress? Many things can effect this, also too, family history...But, just to be safe, I'd get a pregnancy test. I skipped a month and spotted one month and was pregnant. I am also very regular with my periods.

hope this helpsum for one are you using Birth Control because that don't always work i know i am due April 2007 and i was on birth control. if you are using condoms plus birth control then maybe the condom had a leak i have had some do that and another thing is are you buying the store pregnancy test because they are not as acurate as they say i was four months along and the store pregnancy tests kept saying i wasn't pregnant even after i had already went to the doctor and found out i was so you need to go to your doctor and have them run a pregnancy test. and if you are not pregnant then you need to have them run some tests to find out what might be wrong.

You may be pregnant, or if you're younger and not sexually active, you may just have a simple hormone imbalance. my periods are often irregular and its perfectly normal. If you think you might be pregnant, take a test or see a doctor, or if you know you aren't pregnant, there's no need to worry. and you can always see your doctor for hormone treatments to get your period on track.
