It simply means that you have a hormonal imbalance.

There are multiple reasons for this, the most likely is just hormonal imbalance if you're in your teens or going into menopause. Only a doctor can confirm the cause of this problem, if you do go over two weeks and are still bleeding it's best to see your doctor to stop bleeding and investigate the cause.

Important note: hormonal birth control does not regulate periods.
This is a myth based on ignorance of the menstrual cycle and how hormonal Birth Control works, the pill works by suppressing your menstrual cycle in order to prevent ovulation and thus also prevents menstruation - the bleeding women get on the pill is a withdrawal bleed controlled by the placebo pills in the pack, it mimics menstruation but a regular withdrawal bleed isn't the same as regular menstruation. Some doctors will prescribe hormonal birth control for this reason to save them working to investigate the cause of irregular cycles, this is unethical but unfortunately very common.

You should see your doctor just to make sure but i actually had this happen to me and the doctor said that i have a mildly thickened endotherium or something like that. Its when your on your period some part of your ovaries or something open up to let the blood flow out of your body. I'm some women or girls it can sometimes stay open and the blood will just keep flowing. For me it just stopped after 2 1/2 months and now its pretty regular but I've always had an irregular period. So don't freak out. If your really nervous about it go to a doctor and they will probably put you on a birth control to even it out.

I use to havve irregular periods, which is very common especially when you just start your period. You should see your doctor because they can give you birth control (even if you are a virgin) to regulate your period. The pill can keep aunt flow flowing normal as soon as you start your prescription or maybe a few days later the bleeding will stop and you will began to have a normal period. Another reason a person could have abnormal flow is when they are either over or under weight. Eating healthy and maintaining the right weight for your age and height is important. I believe my irregularity was due to being under weight because ever since I have maintained a healthy weight for my height and age, I have not experienced any irregularity.

omg i don't know the answer to this but i just was bleeding for 2 months and i would really like to know what the answer is so if you know please respond!

If the bleeding is appearing after using the bathroom, you may have a bladder infection. When I was in 3rd grade I had this. It was caused from not going to the bathroom enough each day. I suggest drinking a lot of cranberry juice and seeing a doctor. (I went to the emergency room. They will help you there.)

It means that you have an irregular period. Go see your Gynecologist to further discuss your issues with your periods to be sure that there is no major problem. This issue is usually corrected with birth control pills or just regular diet and exercise.

2 weeks is pretty long considering your period should be 4-5 days or atleast a week. Try visting your doctor, something could be wrong.
