It's fine to breathe through mouth while sleeping. It just depends on the person. For example, me, when I was of a younger age I choked in my sleep because of my tonsils. But people with regular tonsils shouldn't have any problem. Anyway, if you have problems with sleeping like that than go visit your doctor because on my opinion it's something we should all be able to do safely.
