He refuses to go away. I told my N several times that it was over...and not in anger. He said we should still be in each others lives and ended up smothering me more than ever. Tge more I rejected him the harder he came after me.....and the oddest thing was that he acted as if I had never tried to end it.....just never mentioned it again....over and over
they're still a Narcissistjust a stoned Narcissist
The narcissist is so insecure about being rejected he pretends to be superhuman in order to be accepted which gets him rejeted even more so.
Yes. Any narcissist is afraid of having their ego bruised. If it isn't bad enough having an ex-girlfriend, being rejected again would hurt quite badly.

The receiver probably dies.
The study is rejected.
When a wire transfer is rejected, the money does not get sent to the intended recipient and remains in the sender's account.
Yes it happens most time. It is true.
Cope. It happens, and it probably won't be the last time.
To say a narcissist is insecure would be to put it lightly. They are PROFOUNDLY insecure. You would be too if you were rejected by everyone, including your parents, for who you really are. It is hard to love and care about someone for who they really are when you dont know who they really are. After all the narcissist has a fake personality which he seems to think people will admire him for but once people see through it, the narcissist becomes very lonely.
I have a former friend who is an insecure narcissist. Because he treated his wife so poorly, she cheated on him with someone who could provide her with the emotional support that he withheld from her. Upon learning that she cheated on him, he rejected her. Later though, he begged and pleaded for her to return to him. Luckily for her, she did no such thing. And why would she after the horrible things he said to her?
They will come back time and again it seems - just to see if you are still thinking about them!
