It can cause indigestion (feelings of heartburn, fullness, nausea that worsen after a meal), or it can put you at greater risk of developing conditions like PUD (Peptic Ulcer Disease) where ulcers develop in the linings of the stomach and small intestines. While heartburn can be treated with a simple antacid (eg aluminium/magnesium hydroxide), PUD can get a bit more complicated. If untreated, at its worse, the increased acid can burn a hole through the stomach wall, causing stomach contents to flow into the space inside your abdomen. This is a life-threatening emergency and requires immediate surgery to seal & clean out the area and prevent infection.
If you're a sufferer of PUD, you'll be prescribed a PPI (Proton-Pump Inhibitor), like omeprazole, which will reduce the amount of acid produced by the cells in your stomach. You'll likely also be given an antibiotic, (clarithromycin, or metronidazole), because PUD is associated with a bacteria called h.pylori.
Hope that helps

Gastritis, or inflammation of the stomach, may occur if there is too much hydrochloric acid in the stomach. Eventually a gastric ulcer may develop.
If there is too much stomach acid and not enough stomach mucus, ulcers may form on the stomach wall. Also, excess stomach acid may enter the esophagus through the cardiac sphincter and cause what is commonly known as heartburn.
if there is too much acid in your stomach it bubbles up you oesaphagus (the tube from mouth to stomach ) and causes ingestion .
As part of the process of digestion, the stomach secretes a strong acid, hydrochloric acid. Sometimes there is too much acid or too little acid, or the acid doesn't remain in the stomach and travels up the esophagus (which is called acid reflux) and any of these things can cause painful problems for the person to whom it happens. The sensation of excess stomach acidity is also (misleadingly) called heartburn. It does not involve the heart.

They have stomach ache.
indigestion or dyspepsia is caused when a stomach acid enters your gullet.
Indigestion tablets contain an alkali which neutralizes the acid in your stomach. In digestion in primarily caused by too much acidic in the stomach.
Stomach pain is often the result of too much acid in your stomach. The acid is called hydrochloric acid. Magnesium Hydroxide is a base (the opposite of an acid) and it can counter the effects of stomach acid, possibly relieving stomach pain. The acid and the base neutralise each other, producing neutral substances.
you would get a stomach ach
MgO is basic oxide and neutralises stomach acid (too much stomach acid is the main cause of indigestion/heart burn)
Too much dairy can sometimes result in a stomach ache. Especially if your Lactose Intolerant
