If there were no oxygen where you are, you could lose consciousness or even die.
Oxygen is a crucial requirement of the human body. However if for some reason the oxygen is depleted around the body, then a person will begin to breathe more heavily as the body tries to compensate. The heartbeat will normally increase to carry any available oxygen more quickly. Then various body systems, including the higher functions of the brain, will stop in an attempt to use what little there is for critical brain processes.
The oxyhaemoglobin will break down and oxygen will release. :)
When your oxygen saturation levels drop, your blood is not carrying enough oxygen to provide your body the levels it needs. If they drop low enough, your body will shut down and you can die. If you are hooked to a ventilator, this will help the body increase the oxygen saturation levels in your blood, potentially saving your life.
blood take oxygen from blood.
The oxygen poor blood (not enough oxygen) goes to the lungs to get more oxygen to turn into oxygen rich blood (has plenty of oxygen)
your heart beats faster to get the blood pumping around your body
Once oxygenated blood reaches the capillaries, the velocity of the blood is very slow - which favours the exchange of oxygen. Oxygen therefore diffuses across the walls of the capillaries into the tissues that need it.
well, you die
You yawn.
You die
It clots.
They die
When the blood reaches cells that do not have enough oxygen, they may not be able to function properly. This can lead to cell damage or death. The body may respond by increasing blood flow to the area or causing other cells to release additional oxygen to help support the oxygen-deprived cells.
