One cause of Back pain can be an aortic aneurysm... The aorta is the main large artery (about 1-11/2 inches in diameter) that carries the blood from the heart through the middle of the body, and has lots of arteries that go out to the stomach, intestines, kidneys, etc. It splits just below the kidneys and becomes the left & right Iliac arteries and goes into each leg [copy & paste this into your browser to see what I'm talking about: http://www.bartleby.com/107/illus531.html ]... (leave off the brackets) What is worrying about your question, is that in some people the aorta becomes stretched out of shape (like blowing up a long skinny balloon), and eventually it can rupture, leading to very bad consequences... It could be that when your heart beats (and you have this "aneurysm"), it could be making the aorta bulge out a little and stretching the nerves in the wall of this aorta, causing you to have this pain you mention. You really need to get to a medical doctor and have him check you ASAP. One of the tests he should run is called an "abdominal ultrasound"; in cases of questionable results (or to confirm the findings) will be to get an abdominal MRI and/or CT to confirm an aneurysm, and also to see just how large in diameter and how long it is. Please do NOT put this off...

In localized pain the patient will feel soreness or discomfort when the doctor palpates, or presses on, a specific surface area of the lower back.
Yes. But to be more precise, back pain can be a sign that your lower back is tight. Your lower back being tight may mean the nerves that come out of your lower back area that innervate your achilles tendon (L5, S1, S2) are being compromised causing you to feel the pain all the way down in your achilles tendon. The website in the related link will show you how to fix it yourself, if your interested.
I am 5 weeks and 2 days and it just started today.
It is meningitis. Go to the doctor or hospital emeditly.
Heck yeah. I felt it both times I did it with terrible pain and numbness in my lower back and back of my leg
Many times pain in the lower back is caused by excessive strain, due to a prolonged physical activity, or one rapid but excessive motion that involves heavylifting or a rapid turn. Other more serious intestinal issues can cause lower back pain, so if it persists or is severe go see a doctor right away, especially of you feel the pain is not secluded to the muscles in your back.
I believe that shingles can cause lower back pain.
It can cause lower back pain but not always
Back pain lower right side causes are: Lower back and kidney disorders.
I'm not aware of any pain that can be done to the back specifically unless you have poor form which puts strain on your lower back muscles. Ideally you're supposed to be working your core. If you feel pain in your lower back then you should stop.
