Hymenectomy is when you get the hymen removed by a DR. which is what I what I will be doing, instead of going through terrible horrible pain!
Cost for a hymenectomy surgery range from $1,000 to $10,000. Certain factors from doctor's fees to the type of economic assistance given effect the end cost.
If you're asking what the definition of hymenotomy is, it literally means "to cut into the hymen." Some hymens are delicate and will break (with a variable amount of pain) during sports or other strenuous physical activity, or when inserting a tampon. Some do not break until their owner's first experience of penetrative vaginal intercourse or sex toy usage. However, some are too thick to break easily or at all, and some heal whenever stretched or torn. This problem can be addressed by the surgical procedure of hymenotomy. While a hymenotomy consists of making incisions in the hymen tissue to widen its aperture, a similar procedure called a hymenectomy is a complete removal of the hymen. In effect, there is little difference between the two procedures--the recovery process is the same, with the exception of the fact that stitches (absorbable sutures) are required by a hymenectomy and not by a hymenotomy. Undergoers of either procedure tend to report improved comfort with inserting tampons or otherwise penetrating their vagina.
When a girl breakes her Hymen, that means she has lost her virginity. Though some break it drone doing day to day activities, most break it during the first time they have sex. As the Hymen is broken, blood flows out and minor pain occurs. Men say it hurts to break a woman's hymen. But like every non- virgin woman, they say only the first time kind of hurts, then you'll get used to it.
No. Checking for 'virginity' (in its clinical term) would require a medical exam to determine whether the hymen is intact. However, this cannot be a confirmation as to whether a woman has or has not had sexual relations. Girls quite regularly can have their hymens torn or rupture through everyday activities such as sports. Hymens can also become ruptured through the insertion of foreign objects or even, in some instances, during personal hygiene, such as using tampons, washing, (douches), etc. Additionally, the hymenal membrane may need to be corrected to assist with normal menstruation or as a precursor to anticipated sexual intercourse. A Hymenectomy (hymenotomy) is a minor medical procedure involving the surgical removal or opening of the hymen. It is done to treat an imperforate hymen or other situations where the hymen is unusually thick or rigid, in order to allow normal menstruation or sexual intercourse. An imperforate hymen can lead to hematometra or hematocolpos. In some cultures, so misunderstood is the female body by both men and women that extreme measures are taken to ensure that a woman encounters discomfort, pain, and even blood, during the first act of intercourse. It's a sad fact that in some cultures, due to the ignorance of an individual or an entire society, that people have paid to have a hymen reconstructed. There have even been anecdotal reports of women deliberately injecting animal blood into their vaginas as proof that a wedding was consummated and that the wife was a virgin. Family members deliberately inspect bed linens in search of blood as proof. Hopefully, through education, and common sense, these absurdities will soon disappear.
I got this from another website... This is usually not a problem and rarely is a surgery cancelled because of a menstruating patient. Head to your scheduled appointment for check-in at the hospital wearing a pad. Usually the nurse will provide guidance. Sometimes mesh panties are provided that will be removed once you are in the OR. Sometimes they will have you prepare for surgery as normal, removing your clothes and putting on the hospital gown and placing a pad under you when you get onto the gurney (hospital bed). When you wake up, you will have another pad under you, be provided disposable panties and you will be probably bleed/spot for a week or so post-op from the surgery. Menstruating during your surgery? Most surgeons do not consider this a problem. If in doubt, call the doctor's office. The surgeon's office nurse will put your mind at ease.
it pretty much depends on the person. some girls break their hymens while doing gymnastics or any other sport, and some girls' hymens don't even break. point is. there are a lot of factors for it to hurt or not. how comfortable you are being with your partner, how moist you are, how nervous you are.
Yes.AnswerNot for all women. AnswerIt can be for a woman, depending on various physical and emotional factors. Some women's first times were painful, some women had no pain at all. Best advice? Make the guy use a condom and a water based lubricant (k-y jelly). Make sure the guy you are with takes the time to sexually arouse you (if you're a guy, take the time to arouse the girl--you'll enjoy it.) Also, don't have sex until you are 100% comfortable with the idea and are not being persuaded into it.AnswerIt sort of can be for some, not for others. It also depends on how big the guy is and how small you are. It can hurt, however, if the guy loves you, the two of you will be able to deal with it. Also, you NEED to use a condom. You NEED to deal with birth control. Welcome to the world of woman hood. AnswerIt was a little painful for me.. I didn't bleed. If you do plan to have sex, just make sure you talk to your partner first and have him understand to take it easy. AnswerHello, are people really this naive???! Hymenectomy, you can have the hymen removed BEFORE you have sex. We do live in modern times with modern inovations-such as medicine, you might have heard of this before. As such, there is no reason for women to have to put up with a man too eager to wait for sex that they can't have the hymen removed. So instead, they end up with people telling them it's normal to have it tear and to bleed for a week or so. NO IT'S NOT! Have the hymen removed. This won't cure all the other problems but it will sure help. AnswerHello, did you notice that some people can't afford that kind of surgery? It should be natural anyway. Sex was painful the first time and I bled, but I did it with someone worthy enough.
first answer... Yes. (1. Sort of ... they come in many variations, none of which are very important unless it's imperforate (i.e. no opening). second... (2. hey, i am 12 and i haven't had my piriod and i haven't had sex (OF COURSE! lol) but the first time i tried, i successfully fingered myself and it didn't hurt. i didn't bleed, and i felt no hymen. a hymen is a flap of skin over the vaginal opening. so, i think it is very possible that most girls do, but i didn't, so i guess some don't. so, not always do you have a hymen. (3. i am not sure weather all girls do or not, but i think so. when i was seven, i was riding my horse bareback going over a small jump, and i think i broke my hymen because when i got home, my underwear was a little bloody and while landing the jump on the horse, i felt funny... kinda discomfort, but weirder... and when i bled in my undies, i know it was not my period because it was only that time. so i can't give you an answer, but i think this is helpful, because i am basically telling you that riding a bike, a horse, sports, and tampons are all ways of breaking a hymen, so people might think they don't have one and it might seem like they don't, but it could just be broken already. so, you can break one with out sex.
Yes, any penetration of the vagina can tear or break the hymen, depending on the hymen's shape and thickness. Sometimes strenuous sports can break it. A finger, a tampon, a sex toy, or a penis might break it. However, some hymens are simply too thick to break or substantially stretch without a great deal of effort and pain, in which case you may want to consider a hymenotomy (incision which widens the opening) or a hymenectomy (complete removal of the hymen). No it's too small. But if you do some hard fiscal activity then yes it's possible.Yes,it can break your hyman and you will know when it happens many other things can break it aswell.
