It really depends on what you mean by "habituated", which in this case can mean either a good or bad thing. If it's 'normal' for you to do something, such as eating toast, it doesn't always mean eating toast is an addiction. On the other hand, if eating toast interferes with your life and dulls its other qualities, or you feel urged to eat toast constantly, it is addiction.
This is considered to be the eating disorder pica and is highly dangerous. You can get very ill and need to see a doctor for treatment.

Most likely it is not a true addiction and is more characteristic of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder... A true addiction has a basis in some kind of physiological response.
