Emotional manipulation is where someone has complete control over another person's emotions just by twisting their words to make them feel like they are the bad guy. A psychic with this natural ability would be the empath. An empath can sense the emotions of another person psychically. An empath can also influence the emotions of others through the means of sensing their emotions, and then using whatever method that empath has found to be the way they manipulate emotions. Mostly, an empath influences emotions through verbal contact, but that's not the limit. Usually, an empath will project their own emotions; example: if an empath was unhappy and they went into a room full of people, those people would start to take on the empath's current emotion. Empaths project their own emotions to people consciously but unknowingly. Empaths project emotions just like a satellite broadcasts different things out to the world. Empathic Projection is not the same as Empathic Manipulation. Projection is projecting their own emotions to others whereas Manipulation is having control over a person's emotions to induce any emotion on that person. Empaths usually take their gifts to a dark place, thus using them for their own selfish intent. And having the ability to influence emotions isn't something that anyone would want to leave a malicious abuser with, is it? Most empaths do take that route because they think that they can go around manipulating people's emotions when it really isn't all that healthy to be inducing the more dangerous emotions on other people who are happy and content with their lives. Most empaths who have chosen the route of evil do that to people.
