Your best bet would be to find an Integrated Massage Therapist in your area that also incorporates "Cranial Sacrum" into their therapy. They would likely know what the connection is or at least be able to give you the treatment and perhaps get you on the road to lowering your blood pressure through this therapy. Another way would be through an Acupuncturist. I had high blood and was overweight to point of obesity. My medical doctor put me on medication for the high BP. I started seeing an acupuncturist for debilitating headaches that the doctor wasn't able to help me with after months and months of trying everything. The massage therapist was unable to help either - although I always felt better after seeing her. After one visit to the acupuncturist - the headaches disappeared completely. That was seven years ago - never again have I had one of those atrocious headaches. So, I asked him if he could help with my hypertension - I was getting readings of 165/110 and variations up and down from there. I was off of the blood pressure medication within three months and have had steady readings since of 120/80 or less! I am no longer getting specifically treated for hypertension now. Now if he treated the Atlas area in my vertebra - that I do not know - but it would make sense. And, any decent acupuncturist should be able to tell you. I have since lost weight which surely helps to keep the BP down as well, but, it was the acupuncture treatment that brought it down to begin with. As for the Cranial Sacrum therapy - since it is working with the spinal fluids from your head down to your tail bone, I would also think it could have an effect on the Atlas Area Vertebra. A combination of the two treatments should be able to control your hypertension either way. But, only the two afore mentioned professionals would be able to tell you for sure. But as for my personal experience they both helped with my hypertension (seven years), weight loss (68 pounds lost over a three-year span with no weight gained back after four years - at all), better posture so less Back pain, and no more horrid headaches - all which could have been attributed to the hypertension or contributed to cause it.
