This sounds like a homework question for your own community. In our arid dry community the common disease is chapped skin, chapped lips, dehydration and some seniors will get sick from heat stroke and dehydration both. Of course we have the normal Heart disease and accidents which are the highest sources of death and illness in this nation. But in this community some people just don't understand how serious it is to stay hydrated and keep the skin moisturized. They will also fail to stay cool when the temperatures rise (which is not for long in the summer). They are told to go to the mall if they don't have access to air conditioning or swamp coolers or heat pumps. But, some will over heat and actually die from it. The criminal thing we have here is also when people will leave their kids, babies or dog in cars that reach temperatures of 120 degrees during the hottest part of the year.
A real crime.
