When the skin of your earlobe is attached to you skin on your head (upper jaw), it is called an attached earlobe. Earlobes that hang more freely are called unattached. They earlobe itself it not attached to your head, it is only attached to the bottom of your ear.
An earlobe is the part if your ear which gets most commonly pierced. Is the bottom part of the ear that dangles down.
It hurts more to get the top part of your ear than the bottom part, because there are more nerves. If you want multiple piercings on your ear, I would recommend to have it near the bottom.
The heart
The part of the ear where one wears an earring is called the earlobe or lobe. It is the soft, fleshy lower part of the ear that is commonly pierced for earrings.
The part of the earring that goes through your ear is called "the post".
That part is called as ear lobe or the pinna of the ear.
the Auricle
The ear has a lower part called a lobe.
The ear canal is the part of the outer ear that is a tube lined with tiny hair like features. The ear canal leads into the ear from the bottom of the auricular and is what conducts the vibrations.
Attached earlobes is when the ear lobe(the bottom part of your ear that ear-rings are normally fitted) is attached to your face so that it makes a long connection to it. Unattached earlobes are rounded and "hang" from the bottom of your ear.
