Both veins and arteries. The contracting muscles on all sides of the vessels squeeze the blood along in the dire tion it is travelling, either away from (arteries) or back to (veins) the heart. This helps the heart so that it doesn't have to do all the hard work itself. In other words exercise is good for your heart. Medicine calls it the skeletal muscle pump.
Veins are assisted in maintaining one way flow by the skeletal muscles' contrations. Valves also ensure one-way flow.

There are three types of muscles: Skeletal (what we think of when we move our bodies), Cardiac (muscle found only in the heart), and Smooth (muscle in our organs, such as the stomach). Cardiac muscles are striated muscles, they have striations just like skeletal muscles. Striations help move muscles, basically. Hope this helped a little.
Muscles are specialized tissues evolved for movement. Smooth muscle is involved in involuntary movement found in the contraction of blood vessels, the digestive tract and the iris, and also the formation of goose bumps. Skeletal muscle is a type of striated muscle involved in voluntary movement and is the muscle we are most familiar with that allows us to move our bodies. Cardiac muscle is also a type of striated muscle, although some people use it to mean skeletal muscle only, and is involved in the contraction of the heart which is the pumping motion that moves the blood throughout the body.
Hamstrings ( Biceps Femoris, Semitendinosus & Semimembranosus) are the Agonistic Muscles Quadricpes ( Rectus Femoris, Vastus Lateralis, Vastus Medialis & Vastus Intermedius) are the Antagonistic Muscles Hope I Helped... Sharnie x :)
Yup!! :) Hope I helped!
When your body is under pressure or exposed to high amounts of physical activity, such as exercising, the blood vessels expand to allow more blood to go to where it needs to go. Your heart rate speeds up so more blood can go through the blood vessels to the muscles or tissue needing it. Hope i helped, :)
the skeletal type is very bony and some of the fins are shaped the same as in the size and look. hoped this helped! :)
Peristalsis is the regular contracting and relaxing of the digestive tract that keeps food moving throughout the system. It is controlled by muscles of muscles in the digestive system, such as the ones in the throat, stomach, and intestines.
Voluntary muscles are ones that you have the ability to consciously control: Arms, legs, mouth, head movement, etc. Most of the major muscle groups used or movement and communication are voluntary.Involuntary muscles would be things like your heart and the muscles around your intestines, which you generally cannot consciously control.Voluntary muscles are ones that you have the ability to consciously control: Arms, legs, mouth, head movement, etc. Most of the major muscle groups used or movement and communication are voluntary.Involuntary muscles would be things like your heart and the muscles around your intestines, which you generally cannot consciously control.
The pectoral and deltoid muscles are often helped by using a muscle vest although some users say that their lower lumbar back muscles are also helped by it.
That would be the lymphatic vessels. The lymphatic system is not directly tied to the main circulatory system and thus is not pumped through the body. So without a regular flow of the lymph, movement of the body helps the lymph to flow. Very few animals utilize a separate lymphatic heart to pump lymph, and that does not include human beings.
