I believe that the food moves through the system by only gravity and not any muscles. This is do to the fact that our intestines are angled downward.
Wow...gravity has nothing to do with this at all.
The two kinds of digestion in the digestive system are mechanical digestion, which involves physically breaking down food into smaller pieces through chewing and grinding, and chemical digestion, which involves the breakdown of food molecules into nutrients by enzymes and acid in the digestive tract.
chemical and mechanical
The three kinds of muscles are the smooth, cardiac and the skeletal. The smooth muscles are controlled by the autonomic nervous system. The cardiac muscles are in the heart and the skeletal help move our bodies.
You can tell what kinds of things they can and cannot digest.
yes different kinds could hurt their digestive system.
Almost 600 in an adult.
their mustaches have muscles for them
We have three kinds of muscles in our bodies. They all contract for different reasons. They can be first categorized as voluntary and involuntary. The voluntary ones are the ones we can control with our conscious thought. These are also called skeletal muscles and we use them to make our bodies move. The involuntary muscles include the cardiac muscles in our heart and the smooth muscles in our internal organs. We cannot consciously control our involuntary muscles but they are essential to our survival because they help us breathe, pump our blood, and move food through our digestive tract.

Blood transports oxygen from the lungs, nutrients and fat cells from the digestive system, and hormones from the endocrine glands.
