Well I don't know about nutrients but drugs that are present in smoke are absorbed without digestion while the THC in mull cookies have to be digested before there are any effects on the human body. This leads me to make the assumption that in order to absorb nutrients from your meals without having to digest it you should smoke your meals from either a bong or a rolled up joint. In order to get the most efficient amount of nutrients from the meal id suggest you should try using a bong.

What classes of nutrients requires the least amount of digestion?

Water and minerals require the least amount of digestion as they are absorbed directly into the bloodstream without needing to be broken down like carbohydrates, proteins, and fats.

What is external digestion?

External digestion is a process used by some organisms such as fungi and spiders to break down food outside of their bodies. In this process, enzymes are secreted onto the food substance to break it down into smaller molecules that can be absorbed by the organism. This allows the organism to extract nutrients from the food source without ingesting it.

Although chemical digestion occurs throughout the digestive system it mostly occurs in the?

The stomach and the small intestine are the most important part for digestion. You CAN NOT live without a small intestine, since most nutrients are also absorbed from there also.

Why does digestion occur inside your body?

The digestion of food starts in the mouth where it is masticated. Saliva is added to form a bolus. This is the start of chemical digestion. Salivary Amylase breaks downs carbs. Food then goes down oesophagus ito stomach where digestion continues. The stomach muscles churn the food with hydrochloric acid and lubricates it with mucus. This then forms a substance called chyme. The hydrochloric acid deactivates salivary amylase and neutralises bacteria. There is a lot more to it but just remember that it starts in the mouth.

What sugars can be absorbed in the small intestine without further digestion?

Glucose and fructose.

Which nutrients can be absorbed without first being digested in the human gastrointestinal tract?

Monosaccharides (such as glucose and fructose), amino acids, fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals can be absorbed without first being digested in the human gastrointestinal tract. These nutrients are small enough to pass through the lining of the small intestine directly into the bloodstream. This process is facilitated by specific transport mechanisms for each type of nutrient. However, larger molecules like disaccharides and proteins require digestion by enzymes before they can be absorbed.

Can you live without villi?

No, villi are essential for nutrient absorption in the small intestine. Without villi, nutrients would not be absorbed properly, leading to malnutrition and other health issues.

Why is it that food substances taken in by animals cannot be used directly?

Food substances taken in by animals need to be broken down into smaller molecules through the process of digestion. This allows nutrients to be absorbed and used by the body for energy, growth, and repair. Without digestion, the body would not be able to effectively extract the necessary nutrients from food.

What are undigested substances that are used by the body without undergoing chemical change?

Fiber is an undigested substance that is used by the body without undergoing chemical change. It passes through the digestive system mostly intact and helps with healthy digestion and bowel movements.

What nutrients can be absorbed without first being digested in the human gastrointestinal tract?

cholesterol

Is your body able to absorb food if it is not chemically digested?

No, the body cannot absorb food that has not undergone the process of chemical digestion. Digestion breaks down food into nutrients that can be absorbed by the body through the walls of the intestines. If food is not chemically digested, the nutrients remain in a form that the body cannot utilize.

Why is digestion good?

Digestion breaks down fat, carbohydrates, and protein into smaller molecules that can be absorbed by your GI tract. Without it, no absorption --> malnutrition --> death
