To be honest, there can be so many materials that cause anaphylactic shocks, for example:

  • bee stings
  • other insect stings
  • Peanuts or other nuts
  • latex (like the surgical gloves)
  • sometimes with animals like cats!

So there isn't a definite answer to that question, because there are just sooo many materials that people get Allergies from. you have to remember that the shocks occur when antibodies in your blood stream overreact to a substance, and it takes time or forever for certain people's bodies to work out that the material is completely safe and it isn't going to do any harm to the body.
