I'm not sure about blood clotting, but I'm a vegetarian and really anaemic, and you need iron pills, I think mine are called "Fe-Fol" or something, but they are one a week. and vitamin B12, which is more for protein stuff I think, and I have "Bee-naturals" for that. I'm pretty sure that blood clots are caused by something to do with white blood cells, though. Having extra iron in your blood should help that though because it adds better consistency to blood.
