great sciatic nerve
hypoglossal nerve
tongue, buccal and and those controlling mandible....muscles of the lower face. mastication = the process of chewing
Trochlear Nerve innervates Superior Oblique(extrinsic eye muscle)Oculomotor Nerve innervates Inferior Oblique, Superior Rectus, Inferior Rectus, and Medial Rectus (which are all extrinsic eye muscles) along with Ciliary Body, and the Iris (which are both intrinsic eye muscles)Abducens Nerve innervates Lateral Rectus(extrinsic eye muscle)
All the hamstring muscles are identical in action. They are mostly responsible fro straightening the bones and support movement around the thighs and hip.
This is called a motor unit.
The twelfth cranial nerve is the hypoglossal nerve. It is responsible for controlling the muscles of the tongue, allowing for movements necessary for speech and swallowing. Damage to this nerve can lead to difficulties with tongue movement and speech articulation.
The hamstring group consists of three muscles: biceps femoris, semitendinosus, and semimembranosus. These muscles are located at the back of the thigh and function to flex the knee and extend the hip.
The tenth cranial nerve is called vagus nerve it is also called as wandering nerve. It has been called wandering nerve because of many areas it innervates. the vagus nerve wanders all the way down from the brainstem to the colon, a long wandering trek.
Abducent nerve. Also called as abducens nerve. The sixth cranial nerve. Superior oblique muscle is supplied by trochlear nerve. All other muscles are supplied by oculomotor nerve.
The vagus nerve, which is cranial nerve X, provides approximately 90 percent of all parasympathetic fibers in the body. It innervates many organs including the heart, lungs, and digestive system to help regulate functions such as heart rate, breathing, and digestion.
When muscles and nerves group together, it is called a motor unit. A motor unit consists of a single motor neuron and all the muscle fibers it innervates. When the motor neuron fires, all the muscle fibers in the motor unit contract together.
There several muscles and joints which are used when riding a bicycle. Some of them include wrist joint, knee joint, hamstring muscles, quadriceps and the calf muscles among others.
