Which toothbrush is better the sonicare or the oral-B sonic?

When you first compare Sonicare and Oral B you will notice that the head of the Sonicare toothbrush is Oval and the brush uses a vibrating, back and forth motion. The Oral B brush is circular and uses a rotating motion. Additionally, the Oral B brush has a smaller head.

I had one of the first Oral-B sonic toothbrushes but as with every rechargeable electric toothbrush the batteries died, eventually. Right now I have a sonicare. I can't say it is really better than an Oral-B for cleaning teeth but you can get a neat case to keep all the brush heads in with the sonicare that also sanitizes everything.

If you have a family sharing a brush and using different brush heads this really helps- otherwise you just end up with an unhygienic mess on your bathroom shelf.
