Why can't you get some diseases twice?

When it is done fighting the disease off, the antibodies still hang around in your blood to make sure that it can't come back. This is why yo should be vaccinated. Your body is receiving a weekended form of the disease, so it can easily fight it off, while making antibodies for it. This way you never get sick from the disease you are vaccinated for.
