There are quite a few reasons why one may have a period last for three or more weeks. It may be because of an IUD, and infection, medication, or Uterine Fibroids. The best thing to do is have an appointment with your OBGYN and make sure everything is okay.
One factor as to why you are having a period for that long could be a hormonal imbalance. I remember when I was in my early teens (im 45 now) and I actually missed a period for almost 2 mos. When my mom took me to the OBGYN, of course I was a little scared because I was sexually active but used protection; however after my exam, that is what he told me. He said its caused by stress, poor eating habits, mental worries, illness (like if you just got over a cold, etc). He said it could happen the opposite, as in what you are experiencing. However, having a period for that long should prompt you to go and see your OBGYN, so that he/she can ensure that there is nothing else going on. Hope this helps.
you should really see a doctor! they will be able to tell you whats wrong but i know enough to say that that is really something to see a doctor about!
If this is not normal for you, it is important to go and see the doctor or gynaecologist just to make sure everything is OK
you should probably go see a doctor.

Can u be pregnant if urn on urn period
you have your period
Your about to start your period in 2 weeks
That's an irregular period. Birth control can be recommended to help regulate your period.
It is perfectly normal to start your period weeks early and its dark brown. You mostly start with dark brown when you start your period and it turns red.
This may mean that you period is irregular which you should go to your doctor and it may be a smart idea to take a pregnancy testy
It means you have to wait three weeks.
That it's time to see the doctor!
you might need birth control from a doctor.
