what the hell. The osteon, or Haversian system, is the fundamental functional unit of much compact bone. Osteons, roughly cylindrical structures that are typically several millimeters long and around 0.2mm in diameter, are present in many of the bones of most mammals, birds, reptiles, and amphibians.
it is the tubular layer of bone surrounding the central canal of osteon
The fibroblast is the most common cell that creates collagen.
collagen fibers and resilient elastic fibers
The reticular layer of the dermis
Concentric lamellae can be found in the structural formations of bones, particularly in osteons. These circular layers are composed of mineralized collagen fibers and help provide strength and support to bones. They are commonly observed in microscopic examinations of bone tissue.
Reticular layer
An osteon is a long cylindrical tube shaped unit in mature compact bone. It consists of concentric layers of bone lamellae surrounding a central canal also known as the Haversian system. They are oriented parallel to the long axis of the bone and to the main compression stresses. Structurally a group of concentric tubes resembling rings of a tree trunk. Each tube is a lamellae( little plate); a layer of bone matrix which collagen fibers and mineral crystals line up and run in opposite direction. This pattern alternates to withstand torsion, twisting and stresses and inhibits crack propagation.Through the core of the osteon runs the Haversian canal also known as central canal and like all bone cavities it is lined with endosteum. It has its own blood vessels that supply nutrients to the bone cells of the osteon and its own fibers.
A muscle is made of tiny fibers. First it starts with one fiber that is surrounded by a layer of endomysium (connective tissue). Next a few more single strands of fibers are added to this one and wrapped around that is a layer of perimysium. this group of fibers is called a fasicle. then a bunch more fasicles get added to this one and is surrounded by a layer of epimysium. this creates the entire skeletal muscle.

The arachnoid mater forms the middle layer of the meninges. It consists of delicate, web-like fibers that lie between the dura mater and the pia mater.
