Well, a healthy level of blood glucose wouldn't be too high or too low. Instead, it would be in the middle between high and low. Unhealthy levels of blood glucose would be an extremely high number.
Its stops there being a too high glucose level, and also there being a lack of glucose.
Pancreas detects blood glucose level by its cells called "Islets of Langerhans." When the blood glucose level is too high, it releases insulin. When it becomes too low, the pancreas then releases glucagon to elevate a low blood glucose.
The purpose of the drug insulin is to lower the body's glucose level, which is too high or insulin would not be given. The glucose level must be checked constantly until it is down to acceptable number.
The term used when a person has high levels of glucose circulating in the blood is Hyperglycemia. For someone who has low levels of glucose the term is Hypoglycemia.Hyperglycemia- The term used when blood glucose levels are too high.Hypoglycemia- The term used when blood glucose levels are too low.The general term for a rapid loss or gain of glucose is 'glucose shock.'A fasting blood glucose level above 126 milligrams per deciliter is considered hyperglycemic. A blood glucose level of below 50 milligrams per deciliter is considered hypoglycemic.

When we eat too much sugar blood glucose level increase which in long term can lead to Diabetes which is symptomize by high blood pressure. You could also get a sugar rush.
Not a high dangerous, but that also depends on the individual. If the person's blood glucose range is from 70-110, then 380 can start to get dangerous. Anything over a person's bgl starts to be a threat to them. When a person's bgl is high then the body's glucose level rises creating things called Ketones. Ketones are unbroken down glucose molecules that are now acidic. If you have too many Ketones your body will go into a stage called Ketoacidosis, and this is when your blood has too much acid that it is starting to travel through your body and dissolving your organs. While not technically dangerous, if its a constant number then it may lead to dangerous things. Some people, more of the littler kids can have a higher bgl because they are still developing in which this would not be a dangerous number, but like everything else in diabetes it just depends on the person.
The pancreas releases insulin to lower the level of glucose in blood, and on the other hand, for the balance, it also secretes glucagon to elevate the level of glucose. Insulin is one half of the balance mechanism for glucose levels. Too much and too little glucose has damaging effects on the body and it's cells.
