- Reasons why some people do not socialize: Some people may be too ill to be out and around or feel like having guests over; other people may not be able to afford too much socializing; students in college and studying hard and possibly holding down a job at the same time; people who have a job that they work at almost all week long leaving them little time to socialize. Within time they begin to lose the etiquette of 'how to's' when it comes to dating or proper etiquette if they eventually do venture out into society.
