True. When a force is spread over a larger area, the pressure exerted is reduced. This is why wearing snowshoes prevent you from sinking into the snow as much as you would wearing regular shoes.
no! its not safe. Mothers with untreated and active tuberculosis should not breastfeed their babies. Tuberculosis is an infectious disease most commonly spread by adults who have active tuberculosis. so this could spread to yyour new born child. you can get medicinces from the doctor though. :)
I don't think that you can prevent this disease so to speak, the only way would be to not get exposed to it in the first place. So if you know someone that has TB avoid contact. This is partly true, and partly false. Having been exposed to tuberculosis and having inhaled tuberculosis germs, one can prevent tuberculosis; meaning tuberculosis disease, or TB by taking preventive medicine, primarily isoniazid or INH supplemented by vitamin B6. The course of treatment is typically 6 months. As the previous person commented, if you never get exposed to TB in the first place, there would be nothing to prevent. Persons that breathe in TB germs and do not have active tuberculosis disease have latent tuberculosis infection, or LTBI. The preventive meds, or INH would be prescribed to persons with LTBI in order to prevent them from developing tuberculosis disease, or TB.
washing your hands with warm soapy water, after coughing and sneezing, or any other contact you would have with germs. and also wearing a mask on your face if you are sick yourself so you do not spread your germs.
I don't think so. It would still spread over your hand, and spread elsewhere.
You cant prevent sun damage its inevitable but you can cause it to happen less by wearing sunscreen or a lotion with SPF in it and wear sunglasses.

Tuberculosis was a terrible disease that killed many people. Would you like something more specific?
