Bypassing a heater core involves disconnecting the heater core hoses from the engine and linking them together, effectively creating a loop. This can be done by removing the inlet and outlet hoses, then connecting them with a metal or rubber coupling. It's important to ensure there are no leaks and that the coolant flow is uninterrupted. However, bypassing the heater core should be a temporary solution, as it can lead to reduced cabin heating and potential engine overheating issues if not addressed later.
where is heatercore located on a 1999 chevyprism
where is heatercore in a 1995 Chevy cavilier
you have to remove your steering wheel and dash completely out of the car then you can access the heatercore
connect a piece of heater hose from the thermostate housing (where one of the hoses connected to from the heater core already is) to the connector for the coolant at the bottom of the enigine (where the second line should be connected).

It is found behind the glovebox on the fire wall inside of the black box, you need to take the glove boxout to get to the box , then take the screws out of the box to find the heatercore, when box is apart inside you will find the heatercore, there are 2 hoses the you will need to separate then remove the lines to the heatercore then remove the core and repret the same in reverse oder

Use the bleeder valve to bleed the system.
It's in the dash, you should probably have it done professionally as it's not a job for a novice and will require a manual, since answer would fill all the space here. You can bypass it by getting a couple hose clamps and a connector & coupling the hoses together, until it is fixed. Look for mechs on Craig's and you will save a lot on labor,
